Fire Sprinkler System Installation – An Integrated Solution with Domestic Supply Water rather than Main Water

We are often asked the following question when considering a sprinkler system for fire protection.

Should I install a tank and pump for my Fire Sprinkler System to run off Domestic supply or connect to use the Mains water supply?

Save up to $10,000 by installing an integrated solution that runs off your domestic water supply rather than the Mains Water Supply because:

• Domestic households have 20ml connection to the mains water supply running down their street. This mains connection doesn't have enough "grunt" to service the fire sprinkler system (2 sprinkler heads), you would then need to:
  • contact your mains water supplier and request an increase of that connection to 50ml at a cost of between $15,000 - $25,000
  • pay an extra $2,000 per year on your water rates
  • have the fire sprinkler system installed (at a further cost)

OR

Have Sinclair Fire install a complete fire sprinkler system that connects with your domestic water supply rather than your mains water. Which means:

• Design, installation and maintenance of:
  • Water tank (3,000ltrs)
  • Pump and pipes
  • 2 Sprinkler heads
  • Necessary paperwork
• Cost of around $30,000 and the tank and pump now run off your domestic water supply.
